Hustle, bustle, blare and din
Confusion, commotion, mayhem and stink
Even with all this you shine
City of joy you're mine.

Crowded roads and jammed up lanes
Waterlogging, filth and stench
Even with all this you shine
Captivating metropolis you're mine.

Life is tough full of challenges and tests
Living here everyday is a fight

Enchanting megalopolis you're mine.

I hear his music wafting by The mellifluous sound of the flute Much before I see him pass The strains of his melody Puts my worries on the mute. The tunes of his flute Drfting through my window Uplifts my spirit Takes away my distraught Makes me ready to face the world. I run to the window to see him pass As everyday I am surprised to see His thin, old body Weary and bent But his face aglow with the music he plays.
