I knew that the day would come I knew you'd grow up one day I  knew you'd go your own way ,little one I  knew you'd fly away. I  am happy that you've found your goal I am glad that you can stand on your feet I am proud of what you have made of your life I am at peace you can overcome your strife. I  did not consider it will be soon That you'll blossom into a flower Nor did I know it'll hurt me so To see my empty bower.

The skin has become wrinkled The hair has turned all white The body is a aging The eyes have lost its sight. The hands and legs don't work anymore It's difficult to walk The body is a aging The voice is unable to talk. Though the body is crumbling The mind is still in it's youth For age is just a number You're as old as you feel.
