Into the lap of nature Where the mountain meets the sea Where its serene beauty Gives me peace and  makes me free I want to travel into that enchanting land Away from the city. Into the hearthside With my book and tea Where I can travel a distance Yet not move in my spree I want to jaunt into that enthralling land Away from the city.

Give me back my wings I am dying a slow death You have clipped my wings As you have caged me up For your fancy. Give me back my wings I want to soar high in the sky again I want to feel the wind on my form I want to visit my kin I want to be free.

I will never forget dear The picture of you Etched in my mind You with a steaming cup of tea Reading the morning newspaper In our balcony. Everyone told you the world has moved on News of the world is always in your hand Surf the net or ask Alexa or Siri Or can see all the breaking news In your own TV But you said the newspaper Was your cake with the cherry.
