Ma Famille

My family is my strength
We fight and we brawl
Disagree about all
There's no one who can break our bond.

My family is my power
We love and we hate
Sometimes foe but mostly mate
There's no one who can tear apart our link.

My family is my force
We may go different ways
But our enemies for each other we slay
There's no one who can shatter our connect.

My family is the root
That holds me erect
And keeps me steady
During all storm and tempest.

I hear his music wafting by The mellifluous sound of the flute Much before I see him pass The strains of his melody Puts my worries on the mute. The tunes of his flute Drfting through my window Uplifts my spirit Takes away my distraught Makes me ready to face the world. I run to the window to see him pass As everyday I am surprised to see His thin, old body Weary and bent But his face aglow with the music he plays.
