The Infinite Pleasure

Reading transports us to magical places
When we cannot travel there ourselves ,
There are many small ways to expand the world
Reading is the best of them all.


Books are the doors into another world
It ignites our thoughts and imaginations ,
It strengthens our brains and increases empathy
And prevents the decay of mind.


The more we read  the more we know
And we have millions of places to go,
It lessens our loneliness and seclusion
And enlivens our life at one go.


The world of books is action- packed, 
Amusing , astounding and amazing ,
It is a breathtaking adventure into fantasyland
It is addictive and awe- inspiring.

I hear his music wafting by The mellifluous sound of the flute Much before I see him pass The strains of his melody Puts my worries on the mute. The tunes of his flute Drfting through my window Uplifts my spirit Takes away my distraught Makes me ready to face the world. I run to the window to see him pass As everyday I am surprised to see His thin, old body Weary and bent But his face aglow with the music he plays.
