Time is the best gift we can give someone
It is an honour to receive such a one
One's presence during good times and bad
Makes us fear no one.


Love is the greatest gift given
It is a privilege to receive such a one
One's affection and fondness for a person
Fills us all with warmth.


Kindness is a gift we can bestow on others
It is a distinction to receive such a one
One's benevolence is a treasure for all
Makes us happy from within.


Friendship is a priceless gift given to all
It is a glory to receive such a one
One's mutual and cordial fellowship
Fills us all with love.


Wealth and riches are the least important gift
That the world has a weakness for
All the gold ,silver and jewels 
Cannot buy us what we want.

I hear his music wafting by The mellifluous sound of the flute Much before I see him pass The strains of his melody Puts my worries on the mute. The tunes of his flute Drfting through my window Uplifts my spirit Takes away my distraught Makes me ready to face the world. I run to the window to see him pass As everyday I am surprised to see His thin, old body Weary and bent But his face aglow with the music he plays.
