I still remember the time I first met you
I was yours from the first day
I did not look back even once
As you led me astray.
You taught me to be false and unethical
But I never questioned you once
I followed you blindly
As if in a trance.
I behaved like you in every way
Was vile, insidious and cruel
I copied your every move
As if your mirror image.
I gave up my friends and family
Just to win your heart
You left me and went your way
As if I had no worth.
You turned me into a villain
And now I can't go back
So I take your life as you took mine
As if it can turn back the clock.

DeleteSuch vengeance or revenge comes from the result of frustration. But this is, to some extent, a sign of immaturity as the person does not understand that such action may lead to drastic consequences. Beautifully composed Mira.
